Default Are catch cans in eb stilll needed

My truck is a week old now and I'm just seeing what people are removing with their catch cans. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks

i don't think anyone is removing them at all. Mines a 14 and the catch can isn't being removed anytime soon

I think you misunderstood. he was asking if anyones catch can is still actively removing slurry...not if anyone was taking the unit out. I don't own a catch can, so I cant say. Lots will say you should get one, lots will say its fine as is. Personally I was going to get one, then felt the $200+ was better spent elsewhere.

It's all about longevity. Get one if you plan on keeping your truck over 100k miles. I hope that $200 went towards something as useful as a catch can.

Actually haven't spent it yet. Which is best? single valve or dual valve? $150 difference between the 2!

Was a catch can ever needed I think is the question...if so...you (or I) would think Ford would have engineered them into the next generation engines/trucks.

Take the $200 and get a massage, and a rub down!

that does sound better than a catch can .
I remember reading something a while back that convinced me to not get one, just trying to find what it was.
