How do you turn on the bed light in a 2012 F150 STX? Can't seem to find anything that will turn it on so it will remain on. Thanks Tried with that dash dimmer button but to no avail.

 

Hmmm...on my 2010 STX I turn the dimmer all the way to the right until it clicks....and my cargo light stays on

 

How did the owner's manual indicate to do it ?

Actually I checked the owners manual for this same topic and it is not covered. Read it several times. Talks about everything else regarding interior lights, dimming, fog light operation, but I couldnt find cargo light info.

So when you turn the dimmer all the way to the right(so the interior lights are on as well) the cargo light doesn't stay on? Weird. Cuz mine does.

 

You press the right side of the dimmer button for the interior lights multiple times until the dome light inside comes on. Then cargo light outside is also on. Would be nice to just have a separate button just for the cargo light though.

If it is like the rocker dimmer switch on my 2012 Lariat, if you do a hard push full detent to the right It turns on the interiors and cargo light.
