How did you find the seats fit when rear facing? I've got 3 "pool noodles" under the back of it and I still don't think it's level enough.

Why couldn't they have put a metal anchor point like pretty much every other vehicle on the road.
That's how it supposed to be done, the anchor point would be impossible to access if it was at the top of the seat and the strap would be extremely short

I clipped the upper strap directly to the metal bracket the strap on the truck passes through and went over the top of the headrest. Works great. The headrest will be compressed in the center and will likely never recover its shape, but I don't care as long as my daughter is safe.

I run mine through the strap then down to the anchor for that seat. That way you can fit up to three seats and not worry about anchors crossing.

You're not supposed to use the tether with forward facing. Both of mine are super secure with the LATCH system and a few towels behind the seat.

I can't wait to have my kid facing forward! my baby seat is huge and takes up too much room in my Scab! A pain in the culo for sure.
