Default Can the tailgate step be added

Can the tailgate step be added to a truck that does not originally have one? I really want one. Not $1,000 want one like ebay lists maybe not even $400 want one but I want one.

Probably not for what your wanting to pay.

Your best bet is to find someone who has one and doesn't like it. Swap tailgates with them or find a wrecked truck.

That's not the same as a TG step. I use mine all the time and that pitiful thing would be useless compared.

I may just have to pony up more dough if I want it. $399 was the best I could find out of a wrecked one shipped and the trim on it was imperfect. The yellow ball for the assist part was ripped off

dhonnoll, IF you get the new tailgate, I call dibs on the not stripper pole access panel!! I'll even send you my stripper pole with the yellow ball intact.

That step is the most handiest thing a truck could have

Brb walking right up into the truck bed carrying something with both hands

I keep the pole because my gf uses it...

The pole does come in handy sometimes. If there was only a way to retro fit a 15+ to a older model that would be perfect. LOL
