Gonna go red on my LL- anybody have any pics of theirs done? What paints best?

 

Red will look like a ricer IMO....they make Caliper paint...most auto part stores carry it

 

Autozone has the VHT paint and also Dupli Color... I've used dupli color on my expedition...

 

I used vht on my audis and s2000 i can find the pics. Clean the caliper good then tape it all off. Spray a light coat on it then let it dry an go over it with thicker coats. I use my eatgun to dry them and suck up the overspray with a shopvac

 

G2 is the best that I have used. They will even color match it for you.

I was thinking of doing red as well to match the rest of the red on my appearance package

 

I have used G2 products when I had my 06 Jeep. I painted the calipers like red like the 08's were. It was easy and the finish was amazing!

If you could post those pics of the VHT audi, I'd appreciate it. I just ordered some VHT caliper paint, wondering how it'll hold up.
