Default A/C not getting cold at all

I have a 2013 F150 Platinum, and I’ve had an A/C problem for a while. The compressor clutch engages when A/C is turned on and I’ve recharged my system multiple times. I’ve also changed out the blower motor and when I did I found the rubber cap that belongs to the circulating air feature. Could that be what’s causing it? Or maybe my condenser is going out? Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is 100°+ now so being in my truck at all is unbearable & having a 1 year old in here is even worse

Do you get plenty of air out of all the correct vents when you switch them?

The outer ones on my dash don’t seem to blow as hard as the vents on the center of the dash. Backseat ones blow the hardest

You need to have the system correctly evacuated, leak tested and then re-charged to the correct amount. Once you know that is correct, then checking the operation would be next. BTW some of the 13's (mine included) are known for poor performance even when all is within specs.

Yeah….. I know this is what I need. Its just not really in my budget right now as I live in SoCal. Was just looking for some advice before I sent my truck in. But I appreciate it

Yep repairs are costly, in order to do this right you will need lots a specific tools and knowledge. Unless you know some one and they have the tools, maybe you can get a referral on a small local shop that will be reasonable. Good luck!

It very well could be the recirculation door. Most of the time it fails in the fresh air mode. If that's the case you're only cooling hot air being pulled from the outside. It'll never get cold because the AC isn't designed to cool such hot air.
In the recirculation mode it's recycling the air in the cabin and making it colder and colder each time it passes through the evaporator.
I ended up removing the blower motor and moving the flap into the recirculation mode and locked it into place with a long screw.
