A/C fuse ?
Well my new too me truck is blowing A/C fuses and the non Ford dealer I bought it from has no idea why..Their solution seems to be just keep feeding it fuses and maybe the problem will go away.
I'm going to dig into this more today and see if maybe I can stumble onto the problem or problems.
In my searches another member here had the same problem it was rodents chewed some wires. So far have not found any bare wires.
Anybody have any thoughts as to what I should look for, or look at next ?
Thanks

That fuse is for the a/c clutch control. Most likely a bad field coil on the compressor but could be chaffed wiring, Fairly simple circuit to pinpoint the problem as it's only 1 or 2 wires that could possibly be the culprit.
Pull the a/c clutch relay from the fuse box under the hood, that will isolate that circuit, disconnect the connector at the compressor and check the resistance to ground on the Violet/White wire at pin 5 of the relay socket or at the compressor connector end of the harness, it should be infinite. If it is then it's highly likely the field coil itself is bad requiring a new a/c clutch assembly.

A/C clutch relay is located in this pic.

Did he also check for a short to ground between pin 3 of the relay and the fuse terminal itself? See the schematic above, the BN-RD wire appears to be internal to the bjb. pull the fuse and relay and check that circuit. If it tests good and the other harness checks good the only thing left is the compressor field coil.

The field coil can be purchased and replaced separately, no need to replace the entire compressor. https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/co...ield-6326145-1
