Bumped a tree going 2mph in my driveway last night backing up. Figures since I just paid it off yesterday. It just left a small scuff on the plastic but looks like it bent one side a little closer to the truck. Can I have the rear bumper pulled back out and an aftermarket one put on? If so where's a good place to have it done and what's the cost looking like? I really don't want to claim it on insurance since it's pretty minor. Thanks for any help in advance.
Also where can I get a good aftermarket bumper?

I did that to my 01. Since it was a chrome bumper and my cousin at the time worked at ORW and was able to get an OEM bumper for only $150.

Because of that, I now always demand backup sensors and rearview camera in all my full size trucks and SUVs.

It has a camera and a sensor. I don't know what I was thinking. I looked again and It doesn't look like anything but the bumper itself was bent so just getting another one put on would fix it.

If its not bent that far back you might be able to use a come-a-long attached to a tree and get it back in place. Ive done it before using an axle strap around the bumper and it worked perfectly.

I've used a hydraulic bottle-neck jack placed between the bumper and frame to "push" the bumper back out. Worked well, but I could still see a little wave in the chrome.

Had an '09 Platinum three weeks and tapped bumpers with the neighbors Ranger backing out at night. They didn't usually park on the street and the sensors had a blind spot on the corners.

How good are the reverse lights on your F150?

There was another bloke that had sensors and cam yet still managed to back into a brick mailbox as he was backing up too fast and wasn't paying attention!

Still have to keep your "head on a swivel" and utilize all safety devices at your disposal, including the "low-tech" rear view mirrors and still looking out the back window now and then!

My 09 backup lights are terrible at night! But I think I read where someone replaced theirs with very bright lights (not sure what) and it washed out the image from the backup camera at night.

A trick that I used was the dry ice method. When metal gets extremely cold it begins to contract. It will help the bump but I'm not saying it will get it out like popping it or pushing it out would.

The backup lights on my '11 are even worse! Just two white indicators that do nothing; have to use the brake lights to get an image. Maybe there's a thread on what works with the reverse camera ... hmmm ...

I did the same thing when I was hunting. The back up lights are the worst. Im looking at maybe getting a custom one made locally if I cant find one online. Then I'll have to chrome it
