I just purchased a 2011 Ford F150 4X4, and I am feeling a bump or slack feeling when taking off. You can feel it more than you can hear anything. Feels like there is slack in something or something is loose when taking off. I feel it in my seat and steering wheel as well. Wife even feels it sitting in passenger seat. Almost has a hesitation feeling, but not in motor. One post said dealer told him his brake calibers where loose and just needed to be tightened. But did not see another response. Has anyone else experienced this? Would appreciate some input. thanks.

 

Check your spare. Make sure it is secure. Mine was loose and made a clunk at times but also felt like what u posted. Sort of an inertia thing. Just a suggestion. Hope that helps.

sounds like slip yoke bump. many trucks have this. you can usally get it regreased and it will take it away for a while. but it will come back. mine has it i don't worry about it anymore.
