Ok, I had a foglight that wasn't working. I posted about using a different bulb. Well waiting for some warmer weather to get under there hasn't happened yet.
Anyways, I get to work and I notice the bulb is outta the housing. Just hanging there. I go to put it back in and notice one wire is broke. I took a pic and its kinda hard to see from the angle I'm at, I'm just curious if it can be taken out of the plug and respliced.
I'd also like the to know if anyone has the part number for what I need. Im pretty sure I need the female end. I really don't want to buy a whole harness, just the end, the clip part/aqua part that the wires go into...
Ranger I don't have a soldering tool, I didn't get a good look at it to see where exactly the wire is broke. If I have to take it apart (if I can) to splice the wire in there or if I need to buy a new one and spice further back up the line.
Also by the looks of it, I need the male not the female
The plug may look male, but that is just the design of the plug. If you look inside the plug of the fog light, you'll see two prongs sticking out, and those are the male. The WPT1080 is female and has two openings on the end of it for the prongs in the lights!!
