Default Bright headlights

Has anyone else been getting a ton of people giving you the high-beam flash, as though everyone thinks you have your highbeams on? I've been getting that a lot, even though my headlights are stock, including the bulbs. I've checked the alignment to ensure they weren't shooting too high. I could even understand if it were only the econoboxes doing it, but it's been other pick-ups, and even semis. What's going on?

Did you lift, level or put bigger tires on? You'll hear most complain our lights aren't bright enough.

Are you sure you guys are drive Ford F-150's???? You can strike a match and get more light than and new F-150 puts out. That is strange....I would double check your elevation of your lights.

No, bone stock suspension, and the same crappy Scorpions that came on the factory 20's.

I don't even run my foglights for the most part. I used to do that in my younger days, but I already know that will get you a sudden flash of bright light from on-coming traffic.

I've been flashed a few times. I've seen other 09+ trucks coming at me before and the headlights have a lot of glare so it does appear to be high beams even though they are low beam. Ford did a ****ty job on this headlights. Lots of glare, low output.

Have a shop align your lights with the right equipment. Also go to a better buld and it should cut down on the glare as well. I upgraded a while back to Phillips and am very happy with the output; seldom use high beams anymore.

Uhh... so you have ****ty drop-in HID's in a halogen reflector bowl... and you're wondering why people are flashing you?

Jesus H Christ man, why don't you trade vehicles with someone and take a few passes at night, you'll see very quickly.
