You don't have to pull the cab. The engine failed under 600 miles. This is what the new vehicle warranty is for.

Now... if you are uncomfortable after the engine is replaced under warranty then it's your prerogative to decide if the financial loss on the sale is worth it.

It sucks but these things happen. From what I can see there's no entitlement to complete replacement of the product.

I had this happen on a new fully loaded Hyundai Sonata, 3000 miles and new engine and 5000 miles cracked valve. Ironically the check engine light came on as I was delivering it for trade in on the F150 again. Despite not qualifying for lemon law(4 times for the same issue here in Texas) yet Hyundai put me in a loaner car each time right away and offered to make some car payments for the inconvenience.

Contact a Lemon Law attorney to discuss your specific situation but I would not tell Ford you are lawyering up as they will stop any talks or negotiation you currently having going on.

I feel your pain and it sucks what you are going through this as I can relate but as long as Ford is correcting with a brand new motor(not remanufactured) they are doing their part and what a warranty is for.

I feel bad for you. I know I would be pissed.

I don't understand why people think that the only way to get something done is to call a lawyer.

That is one of the biggest problems in this world.

I called a lawyer a while back. They never returned my call. Guess there wasn't enough money in my situation where I genuinely needed help. most things can be settled by looking someone in the eye and telling them what you need in a calm polite manner. if that doesn't work start jumping up and down and screaming. either way the situation will change.

New motor with a longer extended warranty would be a deal for me.

Well its not a new truck anymore, it is used. It has been titled.

You have a used truck with a blown motor. Where does that call for a new truck?

New motor with a longer extended warranty would be a deal for me.
I agree with this.

I bought a brand new F-150 back in 2005 and as I was driving out of the parking lot a saleman smacked the side of the truck and did about 4k of damage. I did not leave that night until I got a new truck to replace it. I couldn't imagine having a brand new truck that is already got bondo and new parts installed.

I would keep pushing for a new truck. Just my two cents.

Hopefully the don't say to bite the bullet like they are me with my power sliding window due to the fact that a new truck tills off the line every 46 seconds, do u have a power slide window?
I know this isn't relevant, what engine was it?
