Brake vacuum pump replacement options
I need to replace the vacuum pump for braking system of my 2011 Ecoboost. All options (Motorcraft, Dorman, OEM) seem to be out of stock everywhere. Does anyone know where these can be purchased?.
I was able to find what looks to be the Motorcraft part on partsgeek.com but the reviews of that site vary wildly and returns seem to be a major issue. Anyone have a site they trust?.

Hi Spiky, below is a listing of the OEM and alternative parts that are recommended from Ford tech that posts a lot of excellent how to videos on Youtube. The video regarding this failure is posted here.
FordTechMakuloco,
. I've looked for the 3 parts he lists below and they all seem to be unavailable. Since it's a very common problem, I'm hoping there is a new Ford or alternate part available.
OEM -Ford BL3Z-2A451-A Genuine Pump Assembly - Vacuum
Motorcraft - BRPV10
Dorman - 904-814

Thanks for looking into that, Spiky. I passed on your comment to another member who was also working on a vacuum pump. Given the propensity of this part to fail, I'm sure we're not the only ones looking for an option.
Can hear a rapid vibration when my 2011 pump runs. Noise started 10 months ago and it draws vacuum. This thread provided the incentive to pull it and inspect. Removed both heads, filter and loosened the motor. Couldn’t see how to completely pull motor, crank or rods out. Bearings felt good. Crank case was clean. No rips or tears on either large diaphragms. There was a bit of corrosion to clean out of the heads but nothing like the Makuloco Video. I did not pry the heads apart, what I could see their rubber valves look good. Cleaned lots of dust out of the filter and put back together with original O rings. Still vibrating.

There was a recall but it wasn't a safety recall. Described here.
. It was good for vehicles with <150K mi or Jul 2016, whichever came first, according to the video.
Barry Vee. Your issue is different than mine. Mine was a periodic failure in the boost with the hard pedal feel. didn't have any vibration or sound issues. In your case, I cleaned mine up by removing any corrosion of the caps with sandpaper and also sanded the groves for the rubber seals with several grades of sandpaper to remove any corrosion and keep it smooth. I sprayed in come contact cleaner (doesn't leave any residue) and worked the pump back and forth to ensure good movement and blew out everything with my compressor to ensure no dust, including the caps, which have air flow ducts. I put in new O Rings for the air flow ducts and so far its works like a champ and may have staved off the replacement for a few years. It you can verify its that pump by feeling the vibration and hearing the noise up close, I would try all of these things to clean it out. If it doesn't solve the issue, follow the link Spiky provided to get a new one. Not cheap!

I found this used replacement pump MUCH cheaper than others, on eBay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/14676077177...BlBMUK6N17GRZg
Video shows good operation too. Make'em an offer and get it cheaper.
