Default Brake pad help

Hey guys, changing out the pads on my truck today and think they might have packaged my kit wrong. I had previously installed the power stop Z36 all around and am simply doing a chanogn of the pads. I ordered kit Z36-2087. All is going well until I get ready to put the new pads on and realize none on them have the 2 distinct bumps on the top that the inner pads I took off have. They pads I received all look symmetric, no bumps and interchangeable outer to inner. Was there a recent change in the design of the pads or (as I suspect) did they just package mine incorrectly?

Thanks.

It's showing those as "not compatible" with my 13 5.0. You should need the ones with the "bumps" as you mentioned.

I think I've read here before that the bumps were done away with for compatibility issues. So you should be good to use them.

Not all pads have the big ears. Look closely at your old ones, the ones without the ears, they are actually the important ones to be shaped differently. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/draggi...2/#post6714493

my understanding is their new stock got rid of the ears and the pads can go on either side.
