Been driving it around the past couple of days and I can tell the tune and the computer is still adjusting. I have noticed quite a bit more power and torque since Saturday. Loving this mod so far!!

NICE!!

Did you have your AFE CAI before the install? How did you like the fit?
I have one and really not that crazy about how it is assembled to the throttle body and it comes really close and it fact it did rub on the box above the radiator.

If you don't mind me asking, what's something like that cost you. Looks pretty manly though.

I bought the aFe CAI and the X3 tuner a few months back. If I had to do it all over again I probably wouldn't go with the aFe. But it's a CAI, and I guess they all do about the same thing, just make a bunch of noise!

Mine rubbed the fuse box as well, but since I installed the Boss 302, it comes with a different intake pipe so it doesn't come close to the fuse box anymore. Still not the best fit, but I got those hose clamps on there pretty tight. It isn't going anywhere and it has a good seal.

5Star Tuning sells the entire kit for $1,314.00. That comes with the aFe Stage 2 CAI, X3 Tuner with three custom tunes and the Boss 302 Intake Manifold. That goes with great customer service and updated tunes as you need them.

You could just go with the Boss 302 and the X3, but if you do any of those mods you definitely have to tune it properly.

So far it has been worth the money. No issues and the truck is running great.

I was looking at your setup and I like the way the CAI fits now. I been meaning to email Mike and see if they got any better way to attach it.

I wasn't happy with any of the aftermarket intakes, trying to fit them with the boss intake, or the stupid sound they make when you lay into it just a little but the truck doesn't kick down. I installed a k&n filter and made my own intake tube.
