Default The Boss is in!

I emailed Mike and ordered the Boss and got my updated tunes. It's installed and when they say it is a tight fit, they mean it is a TIGHT fit. We ended up having to cut out some firewall insulation and even had to remove the top cover and reattach it once it was in. Uploaded the 87 performance tune when we were all done.

The truck definitely has more HP and torque. I don't want to say it, but I will....but I am pretty sure I felt my rear tires break loose a couple of times shifting into second.

I really feel like taking it down the street to get it dyno'd to see what it's really pulling.

The 93 tune is so tempting but I can't justify paying that much for gas right now and I know if I do it I will never want to run 87 again!

How is the low-end torque with the Boss intake? I was reading in 5.0 magazine about the loss of low-end power on the Mustangs after swapping intakes. Just wondering how it feels seat-of-the-pants since you said you didn't dyno it yet.

Oh and btw, looks friggin awesome under there!

I can tell a slight loss in low-end torque, but nothing drastic. But once you get the RPMs up and that powerband kicks in you can really feel it pushing you back into your seat.
