Default Borla muffler install only ?

Just placed a order for a Borla 40944 muffler only, what should I expect a local muffler shop to install it since I did not purchase it from them ? I did call all my local shops but none of them stock Borla and they just want to sell me Flowmasters or something else ?

So just looking for a round about figure thats not price gouging or can I just install this myself ?

Thanks....

If it is just replacing your current muffler, it should run around $60. But, then again, cost will vary all over the country and from shop to shop.

How about for them to do muffler and dual exhaust piping? Just seeing if there is a cheaper alternative to $800-$1000 full catback systems.

buying a muffler and having them put the exit to your liking will ALWAYS be cheaper than a catback system

Why just the muffler? What kind of sound do you get?
