Default Boost Guage App

Anyone know if it is possible to add to the trucks app screen.

There has to be someone out there computer savvy enough to come up with a cool turbo boost app for the ecoboost. Not sure why Ford didn't do it, I think a boost app would be sweet showing a gauge for the Ecoboost

Gonna try to shoot someone with Ford an email on this and see if they can do with it

I'll buy it. It looks like the guage mode is made for add-on information. They are available for the mustang and they call them "Track Apps"

The Track Apps are just about what i was talking about.
I talked with a lady from customer service and she was talking about different things, like who would be interested in a boost guage for thier truck, etc.

Does anyone know how to get in touch with an engineer or computer tech person with ford.

If they had an Boost guage APP for you EB would you get it?

Sure would be, maybe then I would have something else to look at besides the GD instant fuel economy which leads me to fret about the lack, there of LOL!!

With that said, hell, I would be happy with a digital speedomoter to supplement the analog needle one. Again, would give me something to look at besides the lack of good instant MPG LOL!!

I know little of turbos. But what will a boost gauge tell you? Why is one needed?

you could measure the pressure output of the turbos, the rpm of the turbos, the temp of the outlet air, the amount of vaccum at the turbos inlet, cooling oil temp for the turbos, lots of info could be displayed if its being measured by the OBM II it should be able to be displayed on the LCD screen...

I'm in for a turbo monitoring system. In addition to boost pressure, I'd also like to see EGTs and IATs. Did Ford put Pyros on the Ecoboost to monitor EGTs?
