Default Which boost gauge?

Mechanical gauge but goes to 20psi for $65. This gauge uses a nylon tube to connect to the boost port on the S/C.

Electronic gauge for $200 but only goes to 15psi(which I want because I'll never see that much boost). Uses a map sensor to see boost then signal wires to the gauge. This gauge also has a peak boost recall and programmable warning light, not that I would even need that. The main reason for wanting the 15psi gauge is because of the satisfaction of the needle swinging at a greater angle. Sounds lame I know but it's something I like.

Would you guys pay three times as much for the 15psi gauge?

I wouldn't buy either one. Get the Android app Torque Pro, a bluetooth OBDII adapter and either an Android smartphone or tablet. You can monitor boost, AFR, cat temps and a lot lot more. Plus it will give you 0-60, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile times, etc.

The only boost gauge that I could find fit in my a/c vent and in Texas I need all of my vents.

It doesn't monitor boost on my truck. It measures some sensors and guesses wildly on my truck. It's read over 30psi according to the torque pro app when it should be more like 7-8 psi with the pulley I have. It seems to read everything else nicely but on my truck and my s60 volvo it's not even close to having the right amount of measured boost.

VEI gauges for vgauges.com. Hands down, the best boost gauge I have ever had.

"Sets the positive (boost) scale of the bargraph to 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 PSI"

oh YES! The high res one does .1 psi increments! I think I found my gauge. Any idea how bright they are at night? There's a wire for lights so I assume it dims when it sense the lights are on? Never mind,

"Brightness park-lights on
BP . 1
Last digit shows brightness level with lights on from 1 to 9"

I think I'm sold!

This. It reads only 16 in/hg on my '08 and should be 24 and reads 14 on boost.

I want dedicated gauges. The VEI gauges can be re-calibrated real easy too. Taking out my phone and mounting it everytime sucks. I want Boost, A/F, and I'm undecided on the last one. If I go VEI I can get a dual gauge. The problem is where do I take it for things like fuel pressure, oil pressure/temperature?

It won't show me what I want that I can't get from Torque Pro.
