How many computers does my 2013 F150 XLT have? Anybody know? I am guessing more than one.

I don't remember where I read it, but I recall the number was closer to 15 when everything is accounted for.

 

I've got 15, do I hear 16? 15 going once, going twice....

Any idea what all these computers are hooked up to? I had figured one for the engine, one for the transmission and one for everything else. But 15? Seems my truck may be smarter than me!

 

Where can I find the correct number? Any thoughts?

 

Depends on the options your truck has, I have a 13 xlt, tow package, option group 302a and it has 17.

Was your last truck built prior to 1985? Because computers have been a large part of vehicles starting around then.
