Default Bluetooth iphone

I Have a 2010 fx2 and I can't seem to get the blue tooth to recognize my iphone 5. I've read directions I found online and doesn't seem to do the trick. Does anyone have any experience with this same setup ?

Yes. Must be your phone. Mine works fine. Do you have AppleCare?

Make sure you have the latest firmware for sync.

Go to syncmyride.com

When I got my 2010 stx I had to delete all the previous owners synced phones then mine worked fine. And that was before I updated it, after updating I had to do the same thing again.

Try turning the phone off, then back on again. You'd be surprised what a simple power off/on can solve.

Had a similar prob, with I 5c phone.
Reboot by simultaneously holding down button on front of phone and on/off button on top of phone til it shuts down and restart

Registered on ford sync said it was up to date ended up doing a master reset and got it to work. Plus found out the previous owner hasn't cancelled his / her Sirius radio on my truck , see how long that lasts.
