Default Bluetooth Connection Keeps Dropping

I have an iPhone that I set up with my 2011 Lariat with Nav option. Phonebook downloaded and everything worked. After the initial setup, the bluetooth connection keeps dropping. I know it's not the phone since Bluetooth works perfectly on another car. Anyone have similar experience and know how to correct this? Thanks

Same issue here. Works fine in my wifes 2010 flex and it did as well in my 2009 f150. Ford must have changed something.

What's your firmware on your unit? Mine says it's up to date. By the way I have nav. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I had the same problem. Update your software and the problem will go away. The only problem I have now is that when I turn the truck off and back on it defaults to "line in" as opposed to the previous " bluetooth audio" setting. Pretty annoying.

I have the nav also. I went in to system info but cannot find where it mentions what edition it is? Why did you find that?

I went to ford to get it updated when I got a reflash last week.

My 2011 was doing the same thing with myHTC EVO I went to my sync owner support on line got the up date installed. then I pulled the sync fuse under the right kick pannel, then cleared and re paired every thing. now it works great even the text works. I don't have the Nav unit just the sync
