Same. A bit of foam + duct tape will be my 'fix'.

I think it's called a synchronization wire. But I also think the answer is no, it doesn't exist.

I bought a product from webelectricproducts.com that allows you to do this though. It makes your front turn signals DRL's and you can attach a sync-wire to perform the function you're looking for.

And I thought I had a great original twist on the blinker mod when I came up this the other night...

I plan on doing this exact same thing to my truck with a couple of relays. The first relay will allow the LED's to function in sequence with the blinkers during the day and the second will make them opposite at night.

Relay one connects the LED's to the blinker circuit through the normaly closed contacts during the day. The lighting circuit will activates the first relay.

Relay two allows the LED's to function as running lights through the normally closed contacts when relay one is activated. The blinker circuit will activate the second relay. When the second relay activates it will cut power to the LED's.

The relays SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) and have 5 terminals. I may have 85 and 86 mixed up the silk screen isn't clear and I haven't used these relays before...

86 - 12V (for activating relay)
85 - Ground (for activating relay)
30 - Main
87a - Normaly Closed Terminal
87 - Normaly Open Terminal

Relay 1
86 - Lighting Circuit +
85 - Ground
30 - + to LED's
87a - Blinker Circuit
87 - to 30 on Relay 2

Relay 2
86 - Blinker Circuit +
85 - Ground
30 - to 87 on Relay 1
87a - Lighting Circtuit + (or 12V+)
87 - None

The tricky part is going to be figuring out how to get wires into the cab so I can run both sides from the same relays.

Best of luck!

there was a guy that took the little speaker or whatever it is and put silicone on it to insulate it a bit and he said it helped with the volume level considerably.. you could also use foam tape or something, just add as much as you want to muffle it

Just wish ford made the chimes volume adjustable like Government Motors did! Atleast they did a few things right!
