Default Binding/clunking sound in steering

Hey guys,

I have noticed when turning I hear a binding sound like the joints are clunking. Anyone else ever notice this sound when steering? It's only noticeable when backing out of my driveway/parking spots or at stop and turning. Maybe this is just a simple grease fix?

Me and 2 other friends with 14's have the same thing. I have 6k miles, one has 24k, and one has 3k so nothing to worry about I think.

I wonder if it's the bump stops or something. I'd like to locate it and slap some grease on it to stop it.

I notice same type of thing.....when starting forward from a stop or a cold start in reverse, it feels like a binding or rubbing or something, only momentarily. I just had been on another thread and some have the same type of issue with binding and some had a clunk, which related back to a slip yoke. Once I have started off from stop, it only is felt for a second then at normal speeds I don't feel anything. Anyone with ideas? Will likely have to take it to the dealer, and hope its a warranty issue as part of powertrain. Mine is a 2011 Ecoboost.
