bfg or duratracs

I know it doesn't mean anything, but I prefer the looks of the duratracs. I really think anyway you go should be sufficient for winter driving. There is a video review of the duratracs on youtube done by SSGM, and they seem to like them.

I've run those tires before and they do decent in the snow, but up there you can get really icy conditions (like I have to tell you that), in which case no tire does great and studs or chains would be mandatory. Years back I remember an ice story while driving over Hood on my way to Portland and no one was able to move except the guys with 4x4 and studs or at least 1 set of chains. If I lived up there still I'd carry chains or cables for just those situations.

My vote would be for the Good Year Wrangler silent Armour. Had these on my GMC and they were awesome in our Saskatchewan winters (they are a winter rated all season) When the stock tires on my 2011 F150 are done that's what I'm putting on again.

duratracs hands down.
way better than BFG AT in winter.
BFG AT arent even that good compared to some tires on the market these days.

my brother runs duratracs on his 2wd chevy. does fine in manitoban winters.
