How is the bed treads holding up? Everyone still like it? How is it to kneel on, some what soft?
Was leaning towards bedrug but like this for ease of cleaning and looks pretty durable. Plus price looks better than a spray in.
Dang so many choices.

^ Hey we are only 40 min away, if you wanna make a trip to Manitowoc you can come take a look at mine

My BedTred has been awesome. the ONLY reason I chose it over line-x is the price. Mine was only $225 after rebate.

I've hauled a ton a wood and some sand the other day and sweeps out like a regular liner.

Oh and kneeling is great. There is a lot of give. The back side is a soft felt type of material.

This maybe what i've been looking for...I've been trying to decide between professional spray in or dIY. Linex and Rhinoliner are between 450-550 down here with lesser known professional installs all over $400. It is difficult for me to justify paying that much. whereas there are several DIY products out there but most have been reviewed poorly.

I have 2 concerns with bedtread:
1) how does the velcro hold up over time
2) is it secure so that moisture will not get trapped under there?

I saw in the vendors forum a post about bedtread, I wonder if we could approach that guy with a group buy for a discount

The only thing I don't like about anything short of a spray-in liner is that moisture and dirt can get between the liner, the bed floor and sides.

If the BedTred velcro is anything like the BedRug velcro you can expect it to last a long time. Should be the same stuff. My 05 had a bedrug in it since 05 and last year I tried pulling it up, it takes some effort to pull it up. The velcro that was on the bed didn't budge at all. I installed it myself, the truck was new and I used rubbing alcohol to clean each area the strips went down. I did have a lid on that truck, but power washed the rug multiple times each summer.

Can't speak much on the moisture since I had a lid on most of the time. I'd say any moisture under there would dry up unless you live in a climate where it's continually damp and humid. I switched from a soft cover to a hard cover one winter and had snow level with bedrails for a week or so. Before I traded the truck I peaked under there and it still looked new.

Plus on the sides, the tie downs on each side will need to be taken off and put over the BedTred. So besides the sticky velcro holding it down you also have the tie down screwed through the sides. Mine doesn't go anywhere. Just moved a washer dryer last night, pushed it from the tailgate onto the bedtred without any issues.

hey thanks for all the info Murf! Very helpful.
Guess it's between the Bedrug or Bed tread for me.

Like the fact that if trade in in a few years you can keep it or sell it. That and I can order one before my truck even arrives, rather than dropping truck off to get line-x.

So bottom line is that the advantage over say line-x is cost, nothing else?

That and there's some give on your knees, you can remove it if you sell and have a bed in good condition, whereas line-x is permanent.

I do like the idea of the give on the knees, that is nice. That line-x is hard stuff! How will a shovel slide/move over it when getting gravel out of the bed?
I will sure think about it for my next truck. Would be nice to be able to see it in person, kind of hard to imagine, even with pictures and videos.
