Default Bedrug question

Hi, Just a simple question I can't seem to find an answer to: Does a 04-08 Bedrug fit a 2010 F-150? My truck does not have the man-step, but the only ones I see specifically for the 2009-2010 are specially fitted for the step. Does that mean that the older version works in the newer truck?

I want to buy one, but I need to know what I am ordering.

Thanks in advance if you can help me out.

I emailed bedrug directly with my questions and they were very prompt and helpful. They may know the exact answer for you.

I believe it's the same part number for 04-10 (without the step). I have a contact that sells Bedrugs, I can hook you up with his info, just email me through my profile.

Well, I just finished installing my new Bedrug. Not too bad...it took just a little over an hour. Now that I know what I am doing, could probly do it in half that. Fits nice and looks really good - almost too good to put a bunch of dirty old junk in it that I need to take to the dump tomorrow. Oh well, I guess that will give me an excuse to try out my new pressure washer and see if the Bedrug is as easy to clean as they advertise...

Gotta say it is a pretty nicely engineered product as far as fitment goes. You can definitely tell it is made to fit your specific truck.

Here's hoping it stands the test of time!

Had one in my previous truck for 4 years and it held up great. I had everything in there from muddy atv's to loads of dirt to high end musical/sound equipment. Cleaned up great every time, with the exception of a rust stain from some rusty metal that was left open in the rain for a few days. I'm getting ready to get another one for my new truck...

Did you remove and replace tie downs or cut a slit for each?

Thought I would post an update...

Bedrug has been in for several months now and is holding up quite well. I have had it loaded up a couple of times with garbage loads for the dump, 26 bags of cement mix, gas jugs, camping gear etc etc. So far, I have just had to sweep it out, no need to wash it down. The fact that the bed and tailgate pieces are one means no jamming of debris in between. I hated that on every truck I have owned, especially when hauling mulch or the like. It is also great because it keeps the road dust out of the bed. Before I got it, I was amazed at how much dust accumulated in the bed from driving on gravel roads.

I would suggest and have used a tarp when hauling stuff that might stick to the bedrug fibres such as mulch. Just makes cleanup time a little easier.

I have shown the bedrug off to many other truck enthusiasts and all seem to like it, especially when they put there knee on it to climb in. Even had one person as if they could sleep in it

As for the tie downs, I just cut a real small slit for each screw just big enough to get the material over the head and it worked out great.

Can you tell us if the 04-08 model fits the 2009-2010 bed?
