I just removed my bed to paint the frame on my 2012 FX4 and I used a T-50 with a breaker bar. Keep in mind that these bolts had recently been replaced (within 2 months) when I had the truck in the body shop having the rocker panels replaced so they were much easier to get out. You might have better luck cutting them all out with a grinder and putting in new ones. Depends on how rusted and tight they are. Looks like being from the South you shouldn't have an issue though. I would try a T-50 on a breaker bar and try and get them all soaked with penetrating fluid if at all possible.

NAPA usually has a good selection of torx bits. A little pricey but they have odd sizes that don't usually come in kits. And they would probably let you make sure it fits before buying.

Everything I've ever had the bed off of was T-50.

I thought it was a T50 Plus bolt. Not a standard T50.

Are you sure it's torx and not torx plus? Torx plus has much thicker engagement points than torx.

I've never heard or Torx Plus, so I was just looking into it and saw it mentioned on a couple unrelated forums that modern F150 beds use T50 Torx Plus. So the last 2 posts are correct.

Hi, definitely a Torx-Plus is what I had to buy to remove my bed bolts.
