This is probably going to be an unpopular answer but I'm an Autozone believer when it comes to batteries. I had a Civic, dad has it now, and the battery went dead and replaced it with a Honda battery that didn't even last 2 years. I put an Autozone battery in and its been going strong since 2008. I still have the original Motorcraft in my truck and may stick with that depending on how long it lasts/costs vs. the cost of an Autozone battery.

 

Red top optima for me...works great.

 

Make sure you get something with over 1000cca. 1150 is what I buy and make sure it come with a five year warranty
