Default Battery light

so when I start my truck (2011 lariat Eco boost ) after about 30 seconds the battery warning comes on , had it into the dealership and they are stumped they put a new plug in on the alternator changed the alternator ,reprogramed the computer and the warning still comes on and they don't know why . the next thing they want to do is a new computer and none of this is warranty. anybody ever have this issue.

Explain the battery warning, snap a pic if you can.

Pinpoint P0626-Battery light , checked alternator, tried 2 more, all same output ok. replaced wire end as per SSM for same code issue .No fix, tested pins at connector to PCM (3) all testing ok at this time possible internal PCM issue ??

DTC P0626 (Generator Field Terminal Circuit High) — The PCM sets this DTC if the GENMON circuit is open or shorted to power. This DTC can also be set by a faulted PCM or generator.

Shouldn't be too difficult to diag provided they have a tech that isn't fresh out of high school.

My source says the code you mentioned is:

"Alternator field terminal-circuit high",

Maybe this will help.

Information like that should have been detailed to begin with, it's very likely you have an open wire somewhere or the different engine isn't exactly the same as the original or a wire is pinched, etc, etc........

Good luck in any event, nothing else I can do to help. Help those techs working on your truck by explaining EVERYTHING to them that you have done prior to the warning message.

It was in to the dealership before the engine let go, the battery light was on then but because I was swapping engines and they had to reset the pcm I waited until after the engine swap to get them to look at it so they knew it was on.
