Default Battery Drain

Hey guys I just got done installing my XM onyx in my truck and im wondering if I leave it plugged in but turned off is it gonna drain the battery on the truck over night? The radio itself is not on but the power adapter thing is lit green even when the truck is off. My previous cars did not have power going through the vehicle when it was off so im just curious if I can leave it plugged in and not wake up to a dead battery.

I have an older XM and you can go into the menu and set it for auto off/on. Until I did this the the truck would not start after a week with no use.

I have a sirius sportster in mine and I've left it on for over 12hrs in the winter and had no battery issues.

You could always hardwire it to 12v switched, will turn on/off with the truck.

I have a computer and touchscreen in my truck that is always on. When I turn off the truck, the computer goes to sleep, but still draws power. I was at first concerned about the battery draining, but as long as I don't let it sit for a week, then I'm fine. I can't imagine your XM pulling that much power. I'd wire it to a fuse so it will turn off and on with the truck.
