battery drain
i just bought a 2014 f150 fx4 just a little over 2 weeks ago. i am getting the mysterious battery drain that happens overnight. if its been sitting for a few hours.. no issues, but overnight almost always the battery is dead. i had the battery replaced once thinking that would solve it. Nope, still waking up to a dead battery. is there a fuse i can test the load on that would tell me if its the switch that detects if its its in park or not?

Get a multi-meter and search youtube on "how to check for a parasitic drain" Basically you make sure everything is off and disconnect the negative battery cable and hook your meter to the cable and the other end on the battery post. Set the meter to check for amps and see what it reads. If you have a reading on it then start pulling fuses one by one and watch for a drop on the meter. Once you find that figure out what the fuse supplies power to and start checking that circuit.
Finally found the issue and fixed it. I never noticed the dash lights on before, but last weekend i was outside and happened to look through the window of the truck and saw them on and i instantly knew that was the issue. I found a seller for the switch on ebay. It was easy to install (like less than 20mins) and now my light is off.
