I wonder how their Roll-X is? I was thinking about ordering one of those.

I've put my G2 through moderate rain with only a few drops getting in. Car wash gets maybe a few tablespoons of water on top of the wheel well. Perfectly acceptable in my opinion. If I wanted water tight, I would have gotten a single piece tonneau. But since I love how low profile this thing is and like the ability to fold it up quickly to access the bed, I'm extremely happy with my decision. I love the security of the thing and if someone really wanted in, it would take them a bit.

Unless people are getting significantly more water in their beds than I am, I don't know what there is to complain about. Bakflip does not claim "water tight" nor does any manufacture that I know of off the top of my head. Ill just remind myself to take my ipads, laptops, and other extremely water sensitive electronics out of my bed during a rain storm. Everything else that is in my bed can have a few drops of water on them!

It rains in Vegas? Lol. My leaks may not be as bad after summer next year. It is cool here and has been since I installed my F1. Maybe the sealing will get better once it warms up next year. I will probably put the heat gun to it again.

Default 3+ years leak free

This is the second truck I have had my F1 on the first was a 06 and I swapped it over to the 2011 when I got it.So this cover is almost 4 years old. Mine leaks at the tailgate sides after a car wash but I think this is the tailgates fault. I am very pleased with mine and will get a new one for the 2013 when I get it

Haha. Not many days of rain. But when it does, it pours! I did however have extra weatherstripping in the garage I used on the front of the bed and checked alignment multiple times before tightening anything.

honestly 1 of every 4 times I close mine it's out of alignment. I just find something to hit it with until it latches because I'm so far past caring.

My VP has leaked from day 1. I've talked to their tech support, reinstalled twice with added silicone, heated seals, added more silicone and........IT STILL LEAKS!

I have the same also (I posted a basic install thread with pictures on this forum) and I love mine, though my first one did leak and the store where I purchased this called undercover for an warranty replacement approval... They approved it no problem and the new one is on there and keeps 98% of all the rain out... only a couple drops near the tailgate area which is to be expected. Awesome product and saved come $$ compared to Bakflip F1. I would buy again.

I have an F1 on my 2012 Lariat 5.5 bed. I spent a good time tweaking and fitting the clips just so when I installed mine and have had "zero" leaks excepts what I can call little more than a tiny dribble which I think came from the tailgate step area when parked on an incline. I see a lot of water go down the drain tubes and in the channels in torrential type of rains (drove through about 3 hours of it the other night) and no issues. I had even accidentally left my suitcase wide open in the bed (in the very back) from pulling out boots on worksite and not even a drop on the clothes in it. I do think I've lucked out a bit with perhaps just how I placed my clips, how tight I held them down while tightening the fasteners, placement, etc. I also check the clamps periodically, but have had to do nothing thus far.

My only complaints are that the instructions from BAK truly, truly suck, and that I've noticed some slight deformation of the bed rail cap where the clamps are underneath.
