Just had a g2 installed on my 2015 Platinum. It's 10x better than the truxedo low pro I had on my 2013 fx4. Drain tubes installed too. Both are nice covers but the g2 is easier to open close. No Velcro stuff to mess with. It's an affordability thing.

How so any more than without the drains? The bed isn't water tight to begin with.

Most Youtube videos, and the install vids on Tonneaucoversworld.com show the installation of the three foams pads. A bit of interwebs research could have assisted greatly.

Anyhow, Bak's products are nice. Sure some may need a bit of tweaking but that's to be expected with almost any product. For instance...was your driver's seat in the exact correct position when you got in it the first time?

Not to be a Dick but couldn't you see what was going to happen? I started to fold mine and the "ah ha" bulb came on and knew what that foam was for! Lol

Mine has rubber pieces where it touches the truck.

yep...I should have researched more when there were no instructions. Just pointing this out so others don't make the same mistake.

Nope, it actually looked like it would touch against the window trim as McDavis mentioned. Found out afterward it did not. And at that point, I said...damn...that must be what the extra foam pieces were for

Look at undercover flex. Very similar, nice tweaks including rods to hold folded cover vertical and not against cab.
