Default Backup Sensors

I have a weight distribution hitch for my camper. Being that it’s so heavy I like to not remove it unless I have to. Extra benefit being if I’m rear ended the rear bumper probably wouldn’t get scratched. 😂

Only issue is its its large enough to trigger the 2 inner backup sensors. If I disconnect just the 2 inner sensors, will the outer two still function as normal? I’d still like the alarm chime to go off if the perimeter sensors catch something.
