Default Backup Cam: Switch from Nav to Mirror Display

Just removed my factory nav screen to replace with iPad so I lost my backup cam. Anyone hear of a way to install the OEM mirror w/ the display and hook the cam into it?

What did you do with your stock navi headunit? What year was it in? I have a 2013 with rearview mirror, where do you live?

Correct me if I'm wrong anyone.... It didn't appear that my old factory nav screen didn't have much much to do with anything... It looked as if it was solely a touch screen display?
