Looking at a Backflip F1. Backflip lists these part numbers for my truck:

04 - 11 F150 Super Crew S/B 66.00 72309 *
09 - 11 F150 w/ track system Super Crew S/B 66.00 72309T *

What is this track system?

 

The tracks are for an adjustable cargo management system. If you are unsure, you probably don't have them. Search "ford f150 cargo management system" and you'll see some videos.

FYI...I've had the Bakflip F1 on my 2011 for over a year and love it.

 

I don't have the cargo management system. But found a deal for a Backflip made for that. Am I OK buying the one made for the cargo thing?

 

I had this same question when I was shopping for my BakFlip and contacted the company directly; Mark from Bak Industries responded:

"Bottom line is that if you have the Ford CMS, you get special hardware that bolts directly into the CMS to install the cover. If you do not have the CMS on your truck, and you get these special clamps, you will not be able to install the cover.

Bottom line- If you want a cover now (without the CMS), you need to order the standard cover without the CMS. If at any time in the future that you add the CMS, you’ll have to call us to get you the special clamps. We’ve never sold clamps like this separate, so I don’t have a price on them, but when the time comes and you need them, we’ll work something out for you to get these upgraded clams."

FYI, CMS only fits the 6.5 bed (L/B), so if you have the 5.5 (S/B) then order the one without the CMS (even though BAK Industries shows two part numbers for 5.5 bed covers!).
