Question Aux Line in question

Can anyone tell me what the aux line in on a 2011 XLT sync w/o nav looks like behind the dash? I'm trying to figure out how it plugs into the head unit and I haven't been able to find a picture of the head unit online. Basically I'm trying to figure out if the plug next to the USB input on the dash is an extender that plugs into a mini jack or RCA on the back of the head unit.

Thanks!

My 2011 XLT head unit has no RCA's on it. As far as I know it connects to the sync system which is not in the head unit.

Ah, ok. So that line just goes into the back of the sync unit through a hole or something and doesn't plug into anything recognizable like another 3.5mm or RCA input?

Has anyone had any success connecting to the sync line in internally? I'm trying to find a way to connect an iStreamer without having to run an RCA to 3.5mm cable to the exterior 3.5mm jack in the dash. A bonus would be to maintain the ability to plug something into the exterior 3.5mm jack if I'm not using the iStreamer. Fingers crossed!
