Default AutoSpring level kit

Quick question for you all that have a AS level kit and installed it yourself. What did you do about the realignment? I have access to a garage back home with all the tools and then some to do about anything I would want to a truck. I planned on putting it on this weekend or early next weekend since Im taking some time
off work for the holidays...only problem is the closest place that does alignments from the garage is a good 20+ miles away. I like the idea of saving some money on the install by doing it myself, not so keen to the idea of driving to get it realigned and eating the f&@k out of my terra grapplers and my truck in the process.

Did you all drive to get it realigned? Tow it? I'm thinking I may just pay to have it installed and hope they don't have "slow hands".

I don't have the autospring leveling kit. But when I put my leveling kit on I drove about 30 miles before I got it aligned.

B4 alignment - did you notice a big difference in handling after u installed lift kit or was it not even noticeable ?

Same here. I drove from my buddies garage to my place which was a good 20 miles and then another 5 or so the next day to get it aligned. I had no issues and really couldn't even tell it needed to be re aligned. You will be good.

Ok cool you beat me to that. I was about to edit that and say any level in general, it
doesn't have to be the AS. I also was going to see how bad out of alignment it was, so you pretty much covered the bases for me bud. Appreciate it!!
While im there I'm hoping to add a bunch of Christmas presents from myself to myself all at once if all the shipping works out and gets here before I go back to work.

I also drove about 15 miles to get it realigned after the 2" AS level. They guy who realigned it said it barely needed it; showed me the graphic and report on how far off it was.

Headlight re-pointing is another issue. Did anyone adjust their headlights since leveling? I did not, but i think it needs it.

When I installed my 2" AS kit I took it to the alignment shop the next day. I don't have the spec sheet handy but, it was barely out of spec so I would have been fine waiting. Be sure to pull loose all the locating tabs and lock plates that hold the vacuum and brake hoses to the knuckle and upper control are mount before dropping the lower arm. This step is where most end up pulling the vacuum line off the hubs and dont realise it until it's too late. Be sure to put them back once reassembled.
