Default Appearance package

Hey everyone ..

I have an appearance package f150..

I haven't yet cleaned it up with any type of wax or polish since I bought it
Summer is coming fast here in vancouver bc and I'd like to get that old shine back..
Just a little worried about what I put on the decal area ..

If you have any suggestions of things you've done in the past and worked, please let me know .. I picked up the mother Brazilian wax but afraid to use it so far.. Lol

I also don't really wanna hear about how you have removed your appearance decal for whatever reason it was you did it for.. Because I can care less..

Regards
Will

I use the Turtle Wax Ice. It has silicone so it can go on any surface! I have a 2013 FX4 in ruby red and it really brings the color out! And it's only about $17.00 a bottle.

I also have the Ruby Red on my 2014 XLT and use Turtle Ice. Truck shines like it's a mirror ! Great stuff.

Mothers is about the best brand you're going to be able to buy from anywhere locally. Turtle Wax Ice goes on very easily but does not last long at all.

I just cleaned mine up a few weeks ago with meguiar's products - wash then clay bar, then ultimate compound, then ultimate polish, then 2 coats of gold class carnauba. Really took out all of the swirls and imperfections and made it look new again. It was an all day event.

Sorry, forgot to say I went right over the decals on every step with no issues. Just make sure you take the time to clean up the edges of the decals that catch any extra residue from the products.

I'm curious about what happens if I get a power polish on mine as I got bush scratches all down my truck. Don't want to remove my decals but manual also states not to use power polishing on decals.
