Default Anyone have the Kicker subwoofer with Weathertech digital fit rear liner?

I'm just curious if the sub can be installed over the mat without having to cut a big chunk of liner out. I am just worried about the placement of the Kicker driver in relation to the raised edge that is meant to be cut out for the Sony sub. It seems like the driver would hit that. I have a SuperCrew.

It can, but the driver will slap the mat! Why would you not cut it out and secure the sub?

I have the full kicker soundstage. You have to cut about 4" off of the inside past the hump for the Sony cutout box.

I would secure the sub through the mat, I just wasn't too keen of cutting a big chunk out of my new mats. If that is the case I am tempted to order the husky weather beaters that do not go all the way under the rear seat. However I have young kids in the back so I liked the additional protection the full rear liner offered. I want to add a sub and the factory kicker upgrade looked too good to pass up at $375.

I have both, I cut the spot for the sony sub out, then the hump on the drivers side, it was a squeeze, but it fit.

I have both, and just sat the sub in there on top the mat, secured it with the one rear bolt and thats it. I have had it for about 6 months now no issue, no slap, no moving, nothing.

If you decide to mount the sub on top of the mat, then you would have to remove the sub if you want to take the mat out and wash it. I cut mine out (Max Liner), and it had a contoured raised lip to help prevent spills from going over into the sub-woofer area.

Yeah I know going over the mat isn't ideal. Do you have the Kicker sub? Do you have to cut out more towards the middle of the mat than just the Sony sub area to make the kicker sub fit?

Side note- how do you like the max liners?!weathertechs are $214 on stage3motorsports.com but auto anything has the set of max liners for $136 after their 20% off promo.

I cut mine to clear the sub. Wanted sub to be mounted securely, and also wanted to be able to pull mat out to clean it.

Default Kicker weathertech

I have both. Cut my mat to fit. Installed the sub over the mat and marked around the curvature of the sub with a ball point pen. Then cut the mat with scissors. Clean install with factory look
