I have a canadian '13 FX4 imported from Canada, bought in Colorado. I also had to change the overlay myself. My truck should have HD Radio, but for the life of me, I can not get it to work..

I can't speak to the HD Radio as I don't use it myself so I've never looked for it. But can you guys tell me where you purchased your gauge overlays and were they hard to change? I would love to get rid of this white background if it's not too hard or expensive.

I have a Canadian 2014 FX4 with 402A and max tow package purchased in Washington State early last year. No HD radio, which I am missing as I got used to it on my US 2013 FX4. After contacting the dealer and getting them to download a copy of the window sticker it did not indicate HD radio as installed, whereas my 2013 sticker did. So apparently it isn't on all Canadian models...

I did find a company that offered HD Radio upgrade kits, but decided to wait. Now it looks like they are not selling them... maybe they only had a limited supply?

Here is a link to the company if you want to reach out to them: https://www.4dtech.com/

Here is an installation video from them: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rExo56ZsoiE

Cheers,
Allen

Bought my '13 FX4 in RI, originally from Canada (Quebec I believe). The FX gauges w/ MPH were on it when I bought it, guess the dealer buys a lot of trucks from Canada so they switch all the gauges out. I have 3.55 gears (I thought max tow only came w/ 3.73 or 4.10 on eco?) but I have the 7 pin harness in back, tow mirrors, trailer brake controller, aux. transmission cooler so I would say mine has the max tow package. Haven't seen a window sticker for it though.

Also mine had HD radio (sirius or xm? Idk) but no active subscription.

My FX2 is Canadian and the Gauges look the same as yours, no FX on the Tach but I still have the Red needles. Also notice the tach lines up with the outside while the speedo doesn't.
The tach reading incorrectly was just the needle not put on in the right spot when it was changed over to a MPH speedo

Here's what mine looks like

If you can find the oem fx4 face plate online, the swap is really easy from what I remember (I was looking it up before I bought the truck because I wasn't sure if they were going to change it.)

I got rid of my black Canadian FX4 for a US FX4. That Canadian truck would really move in reverse but didn't like going forward in Drive. Lol. Just kidding guys, I did sell it, dumped the black for silver. US version DOES have the HD radio, my Canadian did not.
