Default anyone build their own traction/ladder bars

I'm thinking of building a set of traction/ladder bars for the truck. My ideas so far are. 1 weld tabs to the axle at some point and some to frame and to use tubing with heim joints. 2 weld tabs to top of pumpkin and a set to the cross member between the frame using tubing with heim joints there as well but would only be a single bar set up. So has anyone else built a set how'd you do it? How well did it turn out? Does it work well? Any photo's? I have plenty of tubing, Teflon coated heim joints, steel to fab up the tabs. Thanks for your input in advance.

I don't know a whole lot about track bars but if i was going to it do i would make brackets to bolt to the frame rails then make brackets to mount to the u bolts on the rear axle. I'm not sure if that would but the bars to far apart or not enough triangulation in the bars. I personally don't like the idea of welding to the frame of my truck. Not because I don't trust my welds but if the truck ever gets sold it could be an issue and is a permanent change.

That is what I'm looking to build really. I have all the tools and parts needed. Looking to see if I can find some other folks that have done it. I'm not worried about welding to the frame.

I didn't make them but here's a diagram how the ones I bought are attached, might help with your design.

Thank you very much for that diagram. Your truck looks great also. I want to use heim joints because I have them on hand because I do allot of 4 link suspension on trucks. Main problem with these trucks seems they have mounted everything in the way. With the trucks we build there is nothing to hinder you. We only use coil springs on the mega trucks we build.
