Default anti theft malfunction

2010 F150 5.3
I recently tried starting my truck with the aftermarket remote starter, which has worked perfect since I bought the truck 8 months ago. Truck never started, so ended up trying with key. It seemed battery was dead ( had been sitting unused for couple weeks in cold weather). So I hooked up a battery charger overnight and it seemed to give more power to the dash lights, still dead. I noticed the antitheft light flashing so I got me second key and tried, still nothing but the antitheft light flashing. Is this a dealer only repair?

Its a flashing "idiot light" on dash. Shows a partial padlock.

Sounds like you have a bad battery, replace it before you do anything else. Wally world has one with a 5yr warranty, been keeping my truck rolling since the oem batt crapped out only 6 months old.
