I too was worried about them looking too small/narrow but nope! If your going with aftermarket rims then 295's all the way. I figured I lost a good 2-3 MPG (more than I thought I would considering these are the same width as stock), would have been even worse with the wider tire!

I think it is more the weight than the width or larger diameter that effects our MPG. I am assuming that all of not most 295's are 10 plys as I was not able to find any that weren't. 10 plys weigh a whole lot more than the 4 or 6 plys that come on our trucks.
