Finally fixed..
Still nothing from local dealer, got an OEM reman valve body & lead frame from a US seller on eBay for a fair price with good feedback & recent reviews. Replaced the round connection seal, other 2 square looking seals, trans pan filter, new motorcraft filter & fluid. Drives beautifully, 1st thru 6th and back down as normal. Saving the old part and receipts in case Ford ever decides to honor their customers in the future.
