Looks clean. Thinking of getting the w650. How do you like it, since you’ve had it for close to a year now?

Can't you buy a 'wireless carplay dongle' to have the wireless capabilities? Like this one: https://phoenixautomotiveinc.com/pro...66b13dc4&_ss=r

Not exactly sure how it works but it claims to fix this exact issue. If this really works and makes it wireless, I'd definitely get this radio.

I've just purchased this. Hopefully will fix this issue. Its supposed to ship around the new year after they finish the production.

For sure - keep me posted on how well it works. I think the price difference between this unit and the unit with wireless feature was several hundreds of dollars if I recall correctly, which is pretty insane.

Hi ellis dee I had a quick but specific question about your install. I recently bought a 2014 F150 and I am wanting to put this exact setup in it. My question is did you use the Idatalink Maestro rr to retain all the steering wheel controls and factory features? My main concern is the HVAC controls. Will the HVAC setting show on the screen? or do you have to look a the little orange dots on the dash kit? Ive been searching everywhere and I finally found this thread and hoping you can help me out with this. Thanks!
