hmm i have an 09 screw lariat 4x4 and it seems to hesitate somewhat when i get into the throttle as well. maybe i should take it to the stealership and let them give it a once over as well as ask if they will void any part of my warranty if i put on a 2" level kit.

Glad to hear you didn't get into an accident. I know right now there are a ton of accidents because of the rain.

I have had my truck in to the dealership here twice for this issue now. They say they "can't replicate the problem, so they can't fix". They don't really seem that worried about it either. In fact they had the ***** to deny payment for my rental car the last time, becuase "there was no actual warranty work done".

Does anyone know of anyone higher up on the food chain other than my local dealer that I can contact about my issues?

At the least, I have it on file that I have brought my truck in for this issue twice, so IF a wreck does happens (hopefully not) I can guarantee there will be a hefty lawsuit.

Yep, call 1-800-392-FORD

Let us know how you make out. Side note, my thunking seems to be gone but still too early to tell. Will know more later today as I have a lot of driving around I need to do.

It sure sounds like the traction control kicking in to stop wheel spin, my 09 Lariat Screw would do this every time I made a hard turn from a stop and floored it. It would take off and as soon as the TC kicked in it would apply the brakes to stop the spinning wheel. ALSO my 09 had the 3.15 REGULAR ( non LS ) rear end. My 2010 Lariat has the 3.55 LS, but it only has 49 miles on it so I am going to wait until I have more miles on it before ******* it to see if it still does it. I AM surprised that the dealership did not bring up the traction control.

Hmm...the TCS sounds like it may be the problem. I will try it later when I go back out. Thanks for the idea!

Also Dark Wizard, you can disable the TC by pressing the dash button for five seconds, HOWEVER this only disables it until the spinning wheel hits 35 MPH, which doesn't take long !! Then it kicks in. I had a HyperTech program on my 09 and it would allow you to easily do a power slide, but as I stated the TCS would stop the truck in its tracks when it activates. But until someone figures out how to disable this we are all driving death traps when you pull out into traffic.

Ya, it is pretty true that they are death traps until someone figures out how to fix it.
