Didn't have time to get to fancy but the pics turned out alright. Raising structures on a 345,000 line, Hot.

Is that an Ameren truck? My grandpa was a UE lineman forever before he retired. Now one of my best friends is an Ameren Dam Safety Engineer.

Travelers , ropes , wire and clipping today. Brought the chopper in for expediting. Too many turtles. 100+ miles of 954 acsr 230kv

Nice. I'm currently in Nuclear Security and thinking of moving over to line work. I appreciate this as I used to do GIS mapping of the grid.

Setting the 175' dead end Meyers poles, roughly 125,000 lbs for all three sections.

What would look real cool would be to photo edit and put that pole in the back of you Ford, or cable attached to the back of your truck pulling the pole off the flatbed. Where are the desert pictures from?

Those look similar to what they are installed here in Maine as part of an upgrade. They are massive and they are installing them over some ugly terrain.

On second thought, those look bigger than the ones here.

My dads part of the IBEW down here in FL and man times are bad. Hes thinking about leaving for work. Does mostly hospital remodels, looks like an interesting job, be safe out there
