Default Alingment or not?

So I just traded in my 2015 Ecodiesel Ram on a 2013 F150 Fx4 Screw on Monday, I installed the Autospring 2" level spacer (1.5" thick) on the front last night, and when I tore it down I realized that it already had a 1.5" level (1" thick). It still drives good and cant really notice much and by measurement only lifted the front .5". Do I still need to align the truck?

I also believ that there are 1" blocks on the rear if anyone knows or can send a picture of that part of the rear axle that would be great!

Thanks guys, and by the way this is my second Fx4 Screw, first was a 2011 that I traded back in Jan '15 for the Ram.

You need an alignment even if it drives good in my opinion. It might be real close but with the price of tires I would get a $75 alignment for piece of mind. As far as the rear goes my fx4 came stock with a 1" block.

You can wait till when ever to get one. Unless the alignment is seriously off you wont even notice anything.

I've got to ask since I'm truck shopping. Did you lose a lot on the Ram and why'd you trade? I'd assume the 2 year newer Ram with the diesel would be a higher price than your 2013?

Any time suspension height is changed on an ifs, your alignment /will still be off. Can't always tell, but it won't take long for your tires to wear unevenly. It will probably only need a toe adjustment as that was all I needed after my 1.5". 70 dollars give or take is a lot cheaper than spending a couple hundred dollars on new tires.

I leveled mine out a few weeks ago using the Bilstein 5100's set at their highest setting. Planned on getting it aligned after I got the oil changed at the dealer. They went thru their "multipoint inspection" and watched them check the toe/camber (first thing they did), and while they did adjustments, said it was aligned pretty good. Wouldn't think so, but taking their word for it. Looking to get bigger KO2s anyhow eventually and it drives great so take that for what its worth.

Dealer was running a special, $30 for their Works package... I can't even change my oil that cheap. Everything else got checked as well and new air filter. Think most dealers are running that special in my area until the first of the year. Might be worth looking into.

I had my '04 Lariat leveled about a month before Hurricane Katrina hit us...I ran on stock tires for about 3 months with no alignment and the truck rode great. Put some new BFG TA/KO's on and then had it aligned.

Not sure if you know or not, but there is a "Ford Owner Advantage Rewards" app on the iPhone. Think you can sign up for it online too. I randomly did it a couple weeks ago (it's free) and gives you service specials in your area. It has other functions as well that i don't have much use for, but just for signing up they give you a $10 credit to use at any dealer. Used mine, which is why it only cost me $29. Plus they told me just to keep it on my phone and use it again next time. Guess until they actually use the code, I'll keep getting my oil changed there cheap... lol
